WELS: [Welstech] Calendar software

I've done some research on this off and on. Today I just installed "WebCalendar." It is PHP and MySQL based. It allows imports and exports; viewing other people's calendars, and some other good features. I haven't done much with the features or configuration, but it definitely has possiblities.
Of course...it's free (open source).

Greetings,

Our congregation is looking for a desktop publishing solution for printable calendar creation.  We use Google calendar but would like to have more control over the format of the printed calendar for our newsletter.  Since Google calendar has XML, ICAL, and HTML exports we were hoping to find some software that will take one of those formats as an import so we don't have to re-type the events.  Currently we are manually creating calendars in Publisher and typing in all of the events each month, which takes a big time commitment.  Does anyone have any calendar software recommendations?
