WELS: [Welstech] Video and Audio Testers Wanted

Greetings,
 
The WELS Technology Office is looking for volunteers to participate in a
test of Internet video and audio delivery.  In January 2007 WELS plans to
launch Streams, our video and audio web site.  We are looking for volunteers
to participate in a test of content delivery from the site.  The content
will be streamed in both high-bandwidth and low-bandwidth formats so
volunteers are needed to test from all types of Internet connections
(dial-up and broadband).
 
Our goal is to test the quality of the feed of the video and audio files
across all types of computers and Internet browsers.  The test will be
conducted over a four day period from December 26 - 30, 2006.  Volunteers
may participate at any convenient time during the test period. They will be
asked to install the current version of Flash Player software (available for
free download from www.wels.net/jump/flashplayer) on their computer, view
and listen to three video and audio test files (links will be provided), and
fill out an online survey form to report their experience.  Total testing
and feedback time is not expected to exceed 20 minutes.
