Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod
Nomination Alert for: World Missions Professor
In a strategic move to ensure that reduced manpower on world mission fields does
not impede the vital work of our world seminaries in training national workers,
the Board for World Missions has proposed supporting a world mission professor
at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary. This new position will allow Wisconsin Lutheran
Seminary to send faculty members regularly to world seminaries to teach.
*This individual will spend a portion of his teaching year away from the
seminary in world contexts. He will also teach on campus in the subject area of
Systematic Theology, and he will have the administrative responsibility for
coordinating the program.
Who may nominate men for this office?
All pastors, professors, male teachers, congregations, and voting members of
congregations are invited to nominate qualified individuals.
