CALL FOR NOMINATIONS FOR COMMISSION ON PARISH SCHOOLS ASSOC. ADMINISTRATOR
Gentlemen,
Please note the request below for nominations for associate
administrator for parish schools. We have shortened the timeline for this
nomination process from the typical 50 day approach that has been used in the
past. Therefore we are actively encouraging you to help get this message
communicated across the synod. Nominations must be sent to CPS chairman Dan
Schmal no later than next Friday, March 5. The names will then be posted on
the WELS website for one week, during which time individuals can send
commentary, again to Dan Schmal.
I strongly encourage each of you to nominate individuals who you believe have
the faith, spiritual gifts, ministry experience, and clear
understanding of WELS schools and their needs, (with a skill and
personality set that will compliment mine--providing those gifts that I lack)
so that together we all can move forward as a strong leadership team
(administrators, CPS, and PSC's) to strengthen and support the ministry of
parish schools in partnership with the other areas of BPS and with MLC.
Please forward this message to principals and other congregational leaders in
your districts, so that we will receive the best possible slate of candidates
for this position.
